Guy Hagi's forecast: Tradewinds on the way out

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Say bye-bye to the tradewinds, light variable winds takeover tonight and will persist through the first part of next week.

Rainfall will be limited with possible afternoon showers, mainly for interior spots, otherwise should be quite dry.

Humidity levels will be elevated at times with vog and haze buildups likely for some parts of the state.

HIGH SURF ADVISORY remains posted until 6pm tonight. The current swell is dropping, another advisory level swell is due Friday.

Tomorrow wave heights up north will run 8-10 feet, 6-8 feet out west.
