The Japanese tarried, and fewer were married.
But airlines were busy, more passengers carried.

New restaurants opened, serving sushi to spaghetti. The tourism authority hired George Szigeti.

Horizon Lines sailed into the corporate sunset.
A hotel, the Modern, served the younger fun set.

Marriott and Sheraton cut a deal to share sheets.
Roberts spent money renewing its fleets.

A&B flipped estates in Kahala.
Hawaiian Air's fuel bills fell, saving some kala.

The NextEra hearings let everyone vent.
But really, that's next year's "current" event.
