KAILUA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

If you hadn’t noticed, the president enjoys his golfing.

He hit the links again Monday, on the 10th day of his annual vacation in the islands.

Since arriving on Oahu on Dec. 19, the president has been golfing five times and gone on three hikes, including the Koko Crater Railway Trail.

On Sunday, Obama and his family made it to the beach – at Bellows Air Force Station – before heading to one of their regular shave ice spots, Island Snow in Kailua.

Pool reporters said President Barack Obama started his Monday with a workout Kaneohe Marine Corps Base Hawaii.

He then headed to Mid Pacific Country Club, where he met up with friends Mike Ramos, Greg Orme and Bobby Titcomb.

Obama spent about five hours at the course. A pool report said Obama was wearing a white polo shirt, khaki shorts and a tan ball cap, and at the 18th hole, a small crowd of onlookers had gathered to watch the president golf.

Also Monday, Obama was updated on progress made by Iraqi force against the Islamic State group in Ramadi, according to the White House.

And he called Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott to get an update on severe weather in the state.
