Siren testing to be conducted at Waiahole Beach Park

WAIAHOLE (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Some Oahu residents may hear sirens on Tuesday as the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency conducts siren testing at Waiahole Beach Park.

The sirens will sound between 9 and 11 a.m.

Residents may hear the siren about six to eight times for 30-second to one-minute intervals during the identified timeframe. Testing will include short blasts, or “burps.”
