HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii Food & Wine Festival has won the Best of the Fest Award at the 2015 Fest Forward Convergence Conference in Santa Barbara. This is Roy and Denise Yamaguchi grinning broadly.

T&C Surf and Vans gives $30,000 worth of backpacks and clothing to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hawaii. And the Turtle Bay Foundation awards $110,000 in grants to 47 North Shore nonprofits - and 31 students.

Hawaii Legacy Hardwoods, the sustainable forestry company on the Big Island, says it has sold out on koa for the sixth straight year. The enterprise operates on a 25-year harvest cycle.

UPS is still hiring and now offers a $300 bonus for working every day through the end of the year.

The Japanese credit card JCB does a promotion with T Galleria - the consumer shops, then goes to the second floor for prizes - gift certificates, cooler bags and perfumes. The promotion starts today.
