A 2-year-old boy from Maui got to follow his father's footsteps, on Monday when he became an honorary Maui firefighter.
Trucker Dukes, is battling neuroblastoma cancer, a rare and aggresive cancer that occurs mostly in infants and young children.
But that did not stop Trucker from becoming a firefighter just like his dad.
Trucker was presented with a certificate, chocolate cake and a personalized set of "turn out gear" by Maui Fire Chief Jeff Murray. He also got to take a ride in a fire engine.
Trucker will be home for a week before he returns to New York City for chemotherapy.
