Three people were arrested by Big Island Police at the Kona International airport, Tuesday afternoon for allegedly smuggling heroin and methamphetamine.
Authorities say the drugs were discovered during a traffic stop as the three were leaving the airport.
Out of the three, 28-year-old, James Bruno and 21-year-old, Jessica Tsibulski have been charged. Only 32-year-old, Kellen Foster was released pending investigation.
