Macy's 'Believe' campaign donates to Make-A-Wish

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Macy’s 8th annual "Believe" campaign returns, with a kick-off Friday.

“Believers” of any age can participate by going to a Macy’s store until Christmas Eve to write and send a stamped letter to Santa.

Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for every letter received. The donations, up to $1 million, will help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Hawaii children participating in the Make-A-Wish Foundation will be at various Macy’s stores across the state, writing the first letters for the campaign.

Participants can also write a letter through Macy’s new Wish Writer stylus and app. The stylus costs $14.99 and can be bought at a Macy’s store or on the store’s website. One dollar from each sale will go to Make-A-Wish.

Macy’s Believe campaign in Hawaii has donated more than $10.8 million to the Make-A-Wish foundation since 2008.

For more information on the Believe campaign, visit the Macy’s website.
