HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Residents may hear emergency sirens Tuesday as the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency's conducts its monthly siren testing.
The sirens are scheduled to sound around 11:45 a.m. The public will hear a steady, one-minute tone, generally used to alert the public of natural hazards or even terrorist incidents.
These tests are normally conducted on the first working day of the month.
