Oahu's largest craft fair is being held this weekend, November 27th through November 29th.
The 29th Christmas Craft and Food expo has 450 vendors selling affordable handmade crafts and delicious food. There is free entertainment for the keiki including magic shows, face painting, and bouncing castles.
And one of the biggest sources of excitement are the free giveaways. The expo will give out three 32-inch Sony flat-screen TVs and a total of $10,000 in cash prizes.
However, the most important part is that everything is made by local artists.
Promotions Director Esme M. Infante said, "Everything that they make, everything that they sell here is hand-made, manufactured, crafted by them so everything is made with love so if you are shopping for something or you want to give something that is very special then this is the place to find it".
This year, the Crafts and Food expo expanded from the original home in the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall to include the Blaisdell Arena.
About 30,000 residents and tourists are expected to attend the expo this year.
