Honolulu police have arrested a 49-year-old female in a stabbing case in Waimanalo.
The suspect has been identified as Remedio Norita of Waimanalo.
Police said around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Norita and the 26-year-old victim – who are intimate partners – got into an argument at a home on Humuniki Place. The argument escalated, which led to Norita allegedly stabbing the victim, police said.
Norita then fled the scene, but was arrested the next day around 1:20 p.m. on Bishop Street. She is being held on suspicion of second-degree assault.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
