Ron Miyashiro, a well-known, 74-year-old blind pianist was robbed on Thursday in the Iwilei Costco parking lot between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Miyashiro was waiting for his wife in the passenger seat of his white 1992 Corolla when the incident happened.
Items stolen include his spare car keys, spare house keys and his braille bracelet which he says is very valuable to him.
There is no security footage of the parking lot.
Miyashiro says he is not hurt but is recovering from a stroke he suffered from this past summer.
As a well known in the local entertainment world, Miyashiro used to play at the legendary Tahitian Lanai before it was demolished and at the La Mariana.
