HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - NCL says it's expanding its international operations, so it needs an expanded management team. Steve Odell, head of Australian operations, becomes senior vice president for Asia Pacific.

The Kula Harvest Festival was called off due to rain. It has been rescheduled for December 6th.

The Hawaii Community Foundation names Micah Kane its new president - and says the foundation will restructure to better help philanthropists and business leaders work together to solve problems.

Hawaii Pacific Health has a new VP for PR - Brandt Farias spent 28 years with First Hawaiian.

On the event horizon - the Hawaii Restaurant Association will honor its own Friday, December 11, at the new Bread & Butter Restaurant, in the old Pietro's space next to Shokudo.

Thanksgiving used to be a day off for most restaurants. Now it's a special occasion for dining out. Morimoto Waikiki will be offering lamb carpaccio, then duck meatball soup, then sushi, then turkey gallentine, then pumpkin mousse with white chocolate and cinnamon ice cream, $85 per person.

The Sheraton Waikiki has a new exhibit called Santa's Selfie. It uses 24 tons of sand. Another, using eight more tons of san, has Santa serenading Mrs. Claus on an ukulele. The exhibits were made by a company from Melbourne, Florida.
