HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A crane hit the H-1 Freeway's Gulick Avenue overpass Monday morning, snarling traffic for hours.
Two eastbound lanes of the freeway were closed for hours Monday as crews cleared the roadway.
The state Department of Transportation said a crane that was being hauled by a private company hit the overpass around 10:15 a.m., causing debris to fall on the roadway. No injuries were reported, police said.
The lanes were reopened about 1:30 p.m.
