EWA BEACH, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A fire broke out from a bedroom of an Ewa Beach home Sunday, causing approximately $20,000 in damages, according to the Honolulu Fire Department.
At around 1:50 p.m., more than 30 firefighters responded to the two-alarm building fire at the one-story, single-family home on Haehae Place. They arrived to the home around 2 p.m. to find smoke and flames emanating from a bedroom window.
The fire was fully extinguished 10 minutes later.
All four people who were home at the time evacuated without injury.
Investigators later determined the fire was intentionally set. Police are now investigating this as an arson case.
