Police investigate armed robbery at Kalihi gas station, suspects still at large

KALIHI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery early Monday at a gas station convenience store in Kalihi.

The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. at the Aloha Island Mart near Houghtailing and North School Streets. Police said one of the men pulled a gun on the female clerk and demanded money.

The suspects fled with an unknown amount of money toward Houghtailing Street. It's unclear if they used a vehicle to flee.

No injuries were reported.

Police issued an all-points bulletin, describing the suspects as local males around 5'10". The suspect who was seeing carrying the firearm is about 250 pounds and was wearing a gray shirt and jeans shorts. The other suspect is about 160 pounds.
