HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The man accused of stabbing another man and dismembering his body in 2013 was sentenced Monday to life in prison.
Suitt had an opportunity to speak in court, but chose not to.
Suitt had pleaded no contest in August 2015 to killing Alex Gonzales. Gonzales' body was found along Mililani Memorial Park Road in September 2013.
Prosecutors said Gonzales was stabbed 55 times.
The U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force arrested Suitt at his mother's home in California.
Suitt will be eligible for parole.
