Authorities arrest WCCC inmate who failed to return to furlough home

Authorities have located and arrested Toro on Saturday for second-degree escape.

Authorities are seeking a Women's Community Correctional Center inmate who failed to return to her furlough home after work late Tuesday.

Regina Toro, who was serving time for forgery and identity theft, was scheduled to return at 11 p.m.

Once found, she will be charged for second-degree escape and will return to WCCC.

The 45-year-old is classified as community custody, which is the lowest custody level. She is about 4’11”, weighs 110 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She also has tattoos on her neck.

Extended furlough inmates live and work outside correctional facilities.

Anyone who sees Toro or has information on her whereabouts is asked to call authorities.
