The widow of Robin Williams is talking publicly for the first time about why her husband took his own life. Susan Williams says it was not depression, or alcohol or drug addiction, saying he'd been sober for eight years. Instead, she says her husband suffered from dementia. An autopsy discovered the actor had "Lewy Body Dementia." It's a disease that affects the brain's ability to transmit signals. Symptoms include confusion, memory loss and motor skills problems. The actor had been diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's Disease just months before he committed suicide in August 2014.
CBS is looking to put a new twist on the cop drama - with zombies. The network will adapt the zombie best-seller Dead Mann Walking. The drama takes place in the near future, when a police detective who had been executed for murdering his wife takes a miracle drug and is brought back to life as a "second-class citizen."
Jennifer Lawrence is opening up about her struggle with getting equal pay in Hollywood. The actress wrote a letter criticizing the gender pay gap for Lena Dunham's blog, Lenny Letter. In the essay, Lawrence said she got angry after the Sony hack revealed she made less money than her male 'American Hustle' costars. She wrote, "I'm over trying to find the 'adorable' way to state my opinion and still be likable! I don't think I've ever worked for a man in charge who spent time contemplating what angle he should use to have his voice heard. It's just heard."
