Enjoying the tradewinds?
Here’s the bad news: Forecasters are saying they won’t stick around.
Tradewinds will be lighter on Thursday, and Hawaii will see variable winds Friday and through the weekend.
The National Weather Service blames the disappearance of the trades on a front to the northeast of the state.
With no trades, forecasters say Oahu could see some isolated showers. Vog will also move in.
Forecasters say the vog could stick around through Monday, when light tradewinds are forecast to return.
