HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Henry Kapono rocked the stage at the Hall and Oates Concert Saturday night, Blaisdell Arena.  They were singing the Hawaii 70's hit "When the Morning Comes"!  Kapono also posted some backstage photos with the 80's duo Daryl Hall and John Oates.  Kapono wrote on Facebook:  "Thx John and Darrel!!! You guys rocked and thx for letting me roll with you guys. It was an honor and a privilege. God bless you guys!!! Rock on!!! Henry"

The 1st Annual He Lei Iliahi Poina'ole Hula Festival was a wonderful event where all of the students of Legendary Kumu Hula Darrell Lupenui came together in tribute to their kumu; many of them are now teaching hula so they brought their students as well.  There were lots of booths of arts and crafts, lots of food, and LOTS of Hawaiian music and hula.

Finally, Master storyteller Lopaka Kapanui... Is joining us again via video this year, for some local ghost stories.
