The Hawaiian Word of the Day is Keahiakahoe.
Keahiakahoe is the name of the mountain which stands at the back of the ahupuaa of Kaneohe. Literally meaning "the fire of Kahoe," Keahiakahoe is named for the fire used when Kahoe was cooking fish in his home. According to the story, Kahoe, a taro farmer, was the generous of two brothers who always gave the best kalo to trade with his brother, who was known as a stingy fisherman.
