Police ask for public's help in Kalihi-Palama hit-and-run

KALIHI (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the driver in an Oct. 14 pedestrian hit-and-run in Kalihi-Palama.

Police said the suspect was driving a dark blue Ford F-150 pickup truck with black tinted windows.

The accident happened about 3:06 p.m. Oct. 14, when a 36-year-old man was crossing Vineyard Boulevard in a crosswalk.

The truck made a left turn from Palama Street and allegedly hit the man. The driver allegedly fled the scene without stopping or slowing down.

Police said the truck might have damages to the front passenger side.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300.
