Two Hawaii residents to attend White House astronomy event

WASHINGTON D.C. (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The White House will host an astronomy night on its lawn Monday, and two Hawaii residents will be there to educate participants.

The Hawaii attendees will be: Alexis-Ann Acohido, from Gemini International Observatory, and Jenna Ishii, from the Polynesian Voyaging Society.

The event will bring together scientists, engineers, and visionaries from the astronomy and space industry together to share their experiences with students and teachers.
