Shop to help Shriners Hospitals for Children

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The more you shop, the more you can help kids at Shriners Hospitals for Children. This Saturday, October 17th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Calypso St. Barth store at the Royal Hawaiian Center, you can get a 10% discount on all purchases. 10% of the proceeds will benefit Shriners' patients here in Honolulu. The pediatric hospital welcomes children up to 18 years old who need help, despite their families' ability to pay.

This is part of the national anti-bullying campaign for Shriners hospitals. Children with physical disabilities are twice as likely to be bullied according to the organization. That's why, they're encouraging people to use the #CutTheBull in an effort to end bullying.

Director of Public Relations Mahealani Richardson stopped by Sunrise to talk about the event and introduce us to 3 patient ambassadors who modeled outfits from Calypso St. Barth. For more information, go to cutthebull.org.
