The “Art of Peace” Gala will celebrate Domestic Violence Action’s Center’s 25th Anniversary alongside their vast community of supporters and allies.
The milestone provides an opportunity to deepen the community’s understanding of this complex and costly problem. The success of the organization has its roots in a supportive community.
The Gala will feature performance art, visual arts, jewelry and fashion. There will also be a number of local artists showcasing their art work at the 25th Anniversary Gala Silent Auction, which will help raise funds for the Domestic Violence Action Center's legal and advocacy programs. Local artists’ work that will be featured at the gala include: Jonathan Swanz, Anne Namba, Scott Hansen, Salvatore lanzilotti, Elizabeth Kent, along with Iona dance company. Kai Vodka will be offering vodka tastings.
The CEO of the Domestic Violence Action Center Nancy Kreidman joined us in studio to talk about the upcoming event.
