Pono in Paradise: How to make 7-Eleven healthy

For this episode of Pono in Paradise we visited the 7-Even in Aiea Heights. 

Registered Dietitian from HBDnutrition.com and IMUA Orthopedics Beth Danowsky joined us at 7-Eleven to talk about the healthy food options they offer. 

Although it may seem that  there are a lot of bad food choices, there are actually a lot of good food choices including health salad options. They also offer fresh fruit including papayas with lemon! Other health options include: beef jerky, yogurt and hard boiled eggs-- which is a great protein option. 

A lot of people go for the soda option but there are also other healthy drink options including a variety of water, and coconut water.
