The Honolulu Fire Department is warning the public about a possible scam that involves an individual offering to place decals on home windows that would allow HFD to enter during emergencies.
HFD officials said occurrences have been reported in Pearl City, but the fire department has not allowed anyone to solicit installations of decals or any other signage.
HFD said anyone who has received a decal should remove it and contact the Honolulu Police Department.
Anyone with additional information should call 911 or CrimeStoppers at (808) 955-8300.
