HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The No. 11 University of Hawaii women's volleyball team continued their Big West dominance on Saturday night, defeating Cal Poly in straight sets (25-20, 25-12, 25-19) at the Stan Sheriff Center. Hawaii improved to 12-1 overall and 2-0 in conference, while the Mustangs fell to 8-4 and 0-1 in the Big West.
Junior opposite Nikki Taylor led the Rainbow Wahine 11 kills and senior middle Olivia Magill contributed another 10 kills to help the team win their seventh straight match.
Hawaii wrapped up its 13-match home stand on Saturday before hitting the road to California for showdowns with Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside next week.
