On Wednesday, championship professional surfer Bethany Hamilton, made an appearance at Jamba Juice in Kahala Mall as the company's newest ambassador.
"The main reason I chose to partner with Jamba is their commitment in providing healthy, nutritional, as well as delicious food and drink alternatives," said Hamilton. "For my active lifestyle and professional career, Jamba Juice is an enjoyable on-the-go food stop," she continued.
Hamilton was greeted by more than 300 people, which included children from The Make A Wish Hawaii Foundation. She later signed autographs and took pictures with her fans.
Bethany Hamilton was born and raised on Kauai. She lost her left arm in a 2003 when she was attacked by a tiger shark, but continued her surfing
Hamilton follows Major League Baseball player Kolten Wong as Jamba Hawaii's spokesperson.
