Rainbow Wahine associate head coach Hall arrested for DUI

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

University of Hawaii associate head volleyball coach Jeff Hall has been arrested for DUI.

According to eCourt Kokua, Hall was arrested on Monday for suspicion of DUI.

On Thursday, UH Athletics Director David Matlin announced that Hall had been placed on administrative leave through the weekend, but did not provide any details regarding the cause of the suspension. 

If convicted Hall could face up to five days in jail in addition to a fine up to $1,000, 72 hours of community service, a 14-hour minimum substance abuse rehabilitation program and lose his license for up to a year. 

Hall has worked with both the Rainbow Warriors and Rainbow Wahine volleyball programs over the past four years. 

Last spring, he served as head coach of the Rainbow Wahine sand volleyball team. This is his first season serving as associate head coach for the indoor team.
