HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii's own Bruno Mars may return to the stage for the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, according to multiple reports.
The Roosevelt High School graduate has been offered to headline the big event Feb. 7, 2016 in Santa Clara, Calif., Entertainment Weekly reported. Mars' 2014 halftime show performance – with special guests the Red Hot Chili Peppers – was the most-watched halftime show ever with 115 million viewers.
Billboard also reported that Mars has been asked to "curate" the show, meaning he'd get to choose who else will join him during the show.
An official announcement has not yet been made and reps for Mars and the NFL have not commented.
