Police seek 2 suspects accused of robbing man at gunpoint in Waikiki

WAIKIKI (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Honolulu police are looking for two men who robbed a man at gunpoint early Monday morning.

Police said the incident happened in front of Burger King on Kalakaua Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. when one of the suspects reportedly pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded the victim’s wallet. The two men then fled on foot.

Both suspects are described as Polynesian males, according to police. One of them is about 5’7” and between 140 and 150 pounds. He was seen wearing a black T-shirt and camouflage pants.

The second suspect, who was seen carrying the gun, was wearing a gray tank top. It’s not known how tall he is or how much he weighs.

No injuries were reported.
