Rainbow Wahine top Hawkeyes in four

Despite a slow start, the University of Hawaii women's volleyball team was able to top the Iowa Hawkeyes on opening night of the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic in four sets at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Reigning Big West Conference Player of the Week, Nikki Taylor, led the Rainbow Wahine with 22 kills.  Sophomore opposite, Kalei Greely, added 12 kills and a team-high 11 digs to earn a double-double on the night.

After dropping the first set 25-18 to the Hawkeyes, the 'Bows battled back winning the final three 25-20, 25-18, 25-21.

UH will meet American University tomorrow night.
