HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The National Weather Service has canceled the Flash Flood Watch that had been posted for the islands of Niihau, Kauai and Oahu. However, there's the chance of more wet weather this week as Tropical Storm Jimena passes to the north of the islands.
Jimena, or possibly its remnants, is forecast to pass across the far northern offshore waters of the state around Wednesday or Thursday. This could bring a return of deep tropical moisture to the islands. While it is too early to be specific, there could be yet another period of unstable conditions and heavy rain from the middle of the week into next weekend.
