HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Former University of Hawaii running back Joey Iosefa was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, according to a statement issued by the team.
Iosefa played running back with the Rainbow Warriors but transitioned to fullback during his tenure with Tampa Bay. He was the team's only draft pick waived on Sunday.
The Buccaneers must cut their roster down to 75 players by Tuesday, September 1st. The deadline for final cuts down to the 53-man roster is September 5th.
