The Hawaiian word of the day is Mokolii, meaning small lizard.
It's the Hawaiian name for a small island offshore of Kualoa, also known as Chinaman's Hat. Mokolii is said to be the name of the lizard slain by the goddess Hiiaka, and all that was left of Mokolii after this battle was the remnants of its tail protruding out of its water, which became the island Mokolii.
