Everything is better with bacon at the Bacon Festival and Fun Fair

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Creations of Hawaii invites Hawaii's families as well as visitors to the Waikiki Community for its Annual Bacon Festival & Fun Fair at Jefferson Elementary School. This is to support the education of the students at Jefferson that was established in 1933. This school facility includes regular education and special education classrooms along with a district Autism School.

The Bacon Festival & Fun Fair focuses on raising funds for our community projects as well as various departments of the school as well as showcasing the school's diversity of agriculture including gardens that have hydroponics, flowers, Hawaiian vegetation, raised planter beds, ti Leaves as well as to maintain a beautification team for the school. Volunteers, as well as sponsors, are needed to help assist with these projects that educate sustainability and connect them with the introduction to food for a healthy community.

Bacon Festival & Fun Fair is fun filled day with family and friends as you stroll at your one stop shop for local & seasonal fresh vegetables & produce, Made in Hawaii gift items, local entertainment, Hawaiian crafts, rides, games, country grinds and more. Creations of Hawaii is proud to be the sponsor for this event at Jefferson School and are now accepting various school supplies that are listed on their website here.

The "Bacon Festival & Fun Fair" is happening on Saturday August 29, 2015 from 9am until 4pm at Jefferson Elementary School, 324 Kapahulu Avenue (Corner of Kapahulu Ave & Ala Wai Blvd).
