Billy V: Celebrating Duke's 125th, Jake on tour, Diesel goes "XXX" again, Kim breaks Instagram

Yesterday was Duke Kahanamoku's birthday, and to celebrate, Hawaiian Slack Key guitarist Makana posted an archived photo of the Olympic medalist with a guitar. He wrote "Duke was born on this day in 1890. Hau'oli La Hanau e Duke!"

Passengers on a flight to Washington D-C got a free mini-concert from ukulele great Jake Shimabukuro. A photo was posted on Facebook with the caption "Jake in DC practicing while waiting on a flight to Nashville." Jake is on tour promoting his new album "Travels." 

Vin Diesel is looking to bring back his Xander Cage character for another xXx movie, announcing that the movie will begin shooting in December in the Philippines. Diesel starred in the original 2002 film as underground sports star Xander Cage, who was blackmailed by the U.S. government to take down a gang of international terrorists. It made $277 million worldwide. Diesel was not part of the sequel, with Ice Cube playing the lead role in 2005's xXx: State of the Union, which grossed only $71 million.

The famous house in Seattle that caused a media sensation because of its similarities to Pixar's animated movie "Up" is getting the movie treatment. Edith Macefield owned the home and refused to sell it to developers - even for a million dollars. Macefield struck up a friendship with the project supervisor, who would check up on her during the construction project and around her home. When she died in 2008, she willed the house to him. The movie will be a comedic drama focusing on their unlikely relationship.

It was close for a while, but Kim Kardashian has officially surpassed Beyoncé to become the most-followed person on Instagram. Kardashian has surpassed 44 million followers, with Beyoncé just behind.  Taylor Swift is a couple hundred thousand behind Beyonce. In fourth is Selena Gomez, followed by Ariana Grande.
