KAPOLEI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Crews helped clean up between 30 to 40 gallons of diesel fuel that spilled Monday near the Campbell Industrial Park.
The Honolulu Fire Department arrived at 4:40 p.m. to find the spill on the roadway from Kalaeloa Boulevard to Malakole and Oihana Streets.
After further investigation, it was determined that a fuel tanker had a leak in an 80-gallon fuel tank.
After HFD personnel controlled and absorbed the spill, state Department of Transportation crews finalized cleanup.
No injuries were reported.
