The Flash Flood Warning has expired.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Kauai early Tuesday morning.
The Flash Flood Warning is in effect until 4 a.m.
At 12:54 a.m., radar showed intense rainfall moving ashore from the south. This rainfall will produce flooding along low-lying roads and flood-prone areas, especially across southwest Kauai from Kekaha to Hanapepe. Rainfall rates were estimated at 3 to 4 inches per hour.
Other locations in the warning include, but are not limited to Mana, Wailua, Kokee State Park, Kapaa and Anahola.
This Flash Flood Warning may need to be extended if conditions persist or worsen.
