HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The suspect in a Chinatown stabbing late July was arrested Tuesday night, according to Honolulu police.
Anh Bui, 56, was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder at around 7:30 p.m. He was, however, charged with first-degree assault Thursday afternoon. His bail was set at $150,000.
Bui is accused of stabbing a man in his late 30s three times in the chest and back on July 29 at a building near the corner of North Nimitz Highway and Smith Street. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
