Flood Advisory extended for Maui

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the Flood Advisory for the island of Maui in Maui County until Wednesday at 6:45 a.m.

At 4:35 a.m.., radar showed heavy rain near Halawa Valley. The area of heavy rain was nearly stationary.

This advisory includes the entire island of Maui. 

A Flash Flood Watch is also in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.
