HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Flood advisories that were posted for the Ka'u and Kohala areas of the Big Island of Hawaii have been allowed to expire as of 10:15 p.m.

The National Weather Service said radar showed the heavy rains had ended in those areas, which included Waipio Valley and Kamuela on the north side of the island, and Wood Valley and Pahala in the Ka'u District.

Unstable weather could bring more isolated heavy showers to parts of the state Monday and Tuesday.
