What seems to be a Hawaii Boxer's strong fight for life, has gained the attention and blessings from many, including Philippine's famous boxer Manny Pacquiao.

A short video had been posted to Facebook on Friday by professional boxing judge and referee Danrex Tapdasan, of Pacquiao saying a prayer for hospitalized Kalae McShane.

The Saranggani Congressman and 8-Division world champion offered the prayer to McShane after World Boxing Organization V.P. Leon L.p. Panoncillo explained to him the unfortunate situation that happened.

"Hello Kalae McShane, how are you? This is Manny, I'm praying for you. May God bless you and give you strength and heal your problem," said Pacquiao in the video.

After winning his 5th professional boxing match in Thailand, Hawaii boxer Kalae McShane had stayed in the country to train with their national team. On August 4th, the twenty-two-year-old reported a headache after practice and was taken to the hospital after throwing up. A brain scan had showed swelling in his brain and he fell into a coma shortly after.

Currently Kalae is still in a coma. The McShanes are waiting to receive blood test results that will hopefully be able to detect what kind of infection is keeping him in this condition.

The next steps will be working on flying Kalae back into the U.S. once he is stable enough to fly at high altitudes.

But there is an obstacle. The foreign hospital does not accept insurance. However with the hopes of bringing Kalae back home to Hawaii, on Tuesday, according to the McShanes, their insurance had finally kicked in.

A 'Go Fund Me' account has been set up to receive donations since the family has racked up thousands of dollars before their insurance was accepted. The family is accepting donations from the public to help fly Kalae back home as well as to help with the cost of recovery and rehabilitation services that may be needed.

So far, a total of $14,175 has been donated, raised by 190 people in 7 days. To make a donation, click HERE

The video was taken at Davao City after WBO Vice President Leon Lp Panoncillo visited Pacquiao and personally requested for Manny's prayers.

Pacquiao promised that he will offer another prayer for Kalae during his next prayer gathering.
