KAANAPALI, MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - - Maui firefighters continue to battle a fast moving brush fire located above Ka'anapali in West Maui.
Flames first broke out Friday around 3 p.m. and reportedly started burning in the hills above the Ka'anapali Resort area.
The fire is being pushed by strong trade winds and has already scorched through three gulches and burned more than 120 acres.
Fire crews are doing water drops with a helicopter and are using two bulldozers to dig fire lines.
No injuries have been reported and no structures have been burned. It's still unclear what may have started the fire.
Crews are still on scene working to contain the blaze and will remain throughout the night.
