HONOLULU (AP) - The FBI says a drunken passenger on a flight from Seattle to Maui threatened to kill people, shoved a flight attendant and busted out of plastic handcuffs.
Eric Matthew Schneider is expected to appear in federal court in Honolulu on Friday. In a criminal complaint, the FBI says Schneider and his girlfriend were passengers on the Delta Air Lines flight Monday.
The complaint says Schneider had a double tequila cocktail and demanded more drinks.
Two hours into the flight, passengers seated next to him started complaining that he was threatening to kill them. Court documents say he shoved a flight attendant who tried to calm him down.
He also has been accused of falling into a passenger's lap, ripping a curtain off its rings and breaking free of the cuffs.
