Bows offense excited about 75 TD challenge

Bows offense accepting 75 TD challenge

MANOA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - "I think we've got a good team, and I think we really have the leadership in place this year to move forward and make that next step, whatever that next step may be."

Bows QB Max Wittek sounded confident today after wrapping up day 2 of preseason camp.

But if the Rainbow Warriors want to take a step in the right direction they've got some serious work to do.

And offensive coordinator Don Bailey, could just be the right guy to help the Rainbow Warriors do just that. He led a massive turnaround at Idaho State improving the Bengals total offense from third worst in the FCS to 2nd best...

"It takes time and continuity and a little bit of luck.  It's a mindset that you have to have and you've got to put the pieces together." said Bailey.

"It's exciting to hear a coach expect that much out of us and really believe that we can do it.  When we're on the field, it's our mindset to get those 75 touchdowns no matter what it takes." said wide out, Marcus Kemp.

Kemp, named to the Biletnikoff award watch list, added that the receivers as a group are particularly excited about the direction of the offense.
