HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are searching for a man they say robbed a bank Tuesday in Chinatown.
Police said at around 12:35 p.m., the suspect entered the HomeStreet Bank branch on 2 South King Street and handed a teller a handwritten note demanding $6,000. The teller put the money in a reusable store bag given by the suspect.
The suspect then fled with the money on a bicycle.
He is described as an African-American man in his 30s. He is about 5'9" and 160 pounds. He was wearing a green beanie, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, sunglasses and a black mask.
Those with tips are urged to call police.
