Norm Chow has a long history of molding great quarterbacks -- having tutored three Heisman Trophy winners and six NFL first-round draft picks, USC-transfer Max Wittek is hoping he becomes another one of them.
During Chow's time at USC, he worked with Arizona QB Carson Palmer helping him win the Heisman in 2002. Monday, during an interview at the Mountain West Football Media Days in Las Vegas, Chow paid his newly minted U-H starter, Max Wittek, a high compliment -- comparing him to Palmer.
"He reminds me a lot of Carson. They have tremendous physical strength, both very accurate. They have great anticipation. He's a proud young man that wants to get to the next level. He's a gymn rat, he is always in there studying tape, so all of that is very positive," said Chow.
